Introduction

Snow Dream Studios GmbH (hereinafter "we", "us" or "our") takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. This privacy policy explains how we collect, process, use and protect personal data – in accordance with the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP) and its related ordinances (DPO, VDSZ).

The revFADP has been in force since September 1, 2023 and serves to improve the protection of natural persons and to ensure compatibility with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Only data of natural persons is processed, as provided for by the revFADP.

Data transfers abroad, in particular to the United States, are only made where an adequate level of data protection is guaranteed (e.g. through EU Standard Contractual Clauses). Details on the relevant providers are set out in Section 8.

We store personal data only for as long as necessary for the respective purpose or as required by legal retention obligations.

  • Purpose: Statistical analysis of user behaviour on our website (page views, time spent, navigation flows). Used to improve our website.
  • Data processed: IP address (anonymised), browser and device information, pages visited, time spent, click paths. Stored in cookies (_ga, _ga_*, _gid).
  • Transfer to the USA: Yes. Google LLC processes data in the United States. The transfer is carried out on the basis of EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) pursuant to Google's Data Processing Addendum.   • Legal basis: Consent. GA4 is only activated after your explicit consent to analytics. Google Consent Mode v2 is implemented.

Calendly

  • Provider: Calendly LLC, 271 17th St NW, Suite 1000, Atlanta, GA 30363, USA
  • Purpose: Online appointment booking. When you book an appointment via our chat assistant, the Calendly widget is loaded and the appointment is processed via Calendly's infrastructure.
  • Data processed: Name, email address, chosen appointment time, IP address (technical), device information. Calendly sets its own cookies and uses tracking technologies in accordance with its own privacy policy.
  • Transfer to the USA: Yes. Calendly LLC is based in the United States and processes data there. The transfer is carried out on the basis of EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). [LAWYER REVIEW REQUIRED: Please confirm the current Calendly DPA is signed and verify the applicable SCC version.]
  • Legal basis: Contract initiation / consent. The Calendly widget is only loaded when you actively use the booking function in the chat.

Sanity.io (Content Management System)

  • Provider: Sanity Inc., 548 Market St #95378, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA
  • Purpose: Management and delivery of website content (blog articles, case studies). Sanity serves as a headless CMS; content is retrieved server-side.
  • Data processed: Technical request data (IP address, HTTP headers) when retrieving content via the Sanity API. No user tracking cookies are set by Sanity.
  • Transfer to the USA: Yes. Sanity Inc. is based in the United States. [LAWYER REVIEW REQUIRED: Please confirm the current Sanity DPA and data storage region.]
  • Legal basis: Legitimate interest (technical operation of the website). Sanity is a purely server-side service with no user tracking.

Bunny.net (Content Delivery Network)

  • Provider: BunnyWay d.o.o., Cesta Komandanta Staneta 4A, 1215 Medvode, Slovenia (EU)
  • Purpose: Fast delivery of images and videos via a global CDN network. Images and media content on our website are served from Bunny.net servers.
  • Data processed: IP address and technical request data for each image/video request. No user tracking by Bunny.net on this website.
  • Transfer outside the EU/Switzerland: Bunny.net is headquartered in the EU (Slovenia) and operates a global CDN network. Technically, requests may also be routed via servers outside the EU/Switzerland. [LAWYER REVIEW REQUIRED: Please review the current Bunny.net DPA and network topology.]
  • Legal basis: Legitimate interest (technical operation / performance of the website).

We implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures, in particular based on the principles of Privacy by Design and Privacy by Default.

Reporting Data Breaches

In the event of data security breaches that pose a high risk to privacy or fundamental rights, a report will be made to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) in accordance with the revFADP.
